Leadership
Leadership training is a large piece of our after school martial arts program. Each day our afterschool students participate in a professionally developed leadership class (LEAD) for 30 minutes.

Younger students are coached through interesting activities, games and thought provoking team discussions on how to focus, listen, pay attention and complete the task at hand. All students get to participate in teams and teaming in order to learn how to work well with others and on a team.
Older students get to try their hand at becoming a team leader. There are many opportunities to take their first steps into leadership and learn what it takes to become a good team player and leader.
The leadership class is branded as LEAD and presents challenges designed to teach new skills students can use in school and later in life.

Getting Started
We would prefer to meet new students prior to starting afterschool so they may see where they will be coming and meet our team. They are welcome to attend a class or two prior to the start of afterschool, with no obligation.
All students are encouraged to leave their uniforms in a string bag on a hook, They have their own space with their name on it. This allows them not to have to bring their uniform back and forth daily.
We suggest parents take unforms home on Fridays to wash.
Our program ends at 5:00pm. Student pickup is from 5:00pm-6:00pm.
We have an open door policy, parents may watch class and come in anytime. Parents may take their child from class when they arrive. Please just waive to the instructor, once he gets to know you he will rapidly dismiss your child from class.
We have many other activities as part of our school. Be sure to join our private Facebook page to receive all communication from us.
Cost and Billing
The cost is $130 per week, billed via credit card on the Friday before the week in question.
There is a $99 registration fee for new students. This includes a uniform for use in karate classes. The purpose of the uniform aside from its traditional role in karate is to help the student feel a sense of belonging to a team and allow them the pride and feeling of accomplishment in their belt progression and awards of belt stripes. This is one of the tools we use to build self confidence.
For new students, the $99 registration fee and the first week payment is due upon signing up.
For existing students, the first week payment is due the Friday before the first week of school.
