Leadership

Leadership training is a large piece of our after school martial arts program. Summer camp will continue that leadership training with team based activities and group wide conversations focused on life skills. Will will conduct our LEAD class several times per week during summer camp.

Here at Full Circle, campers will learn to work as a team as they go through our daily activities and challenges designed to teach them new skills that they can use in the upcoming school and in life.

Campers will have lots of opportunities to take their first steps into le
adership and learn what it takes to become a good team player and be part of a working team.

Those that are ready for the next step will have opportunities to try their hand at leading their team.

Martial  Arts

Afternoon activities during summer camp are more physically active than mornings. Students, if they desire, will have the chance to discover the world of martial arts and try Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, sparring, Tang Soo Do and Taekwondo.

Our team of expert martial arts instructors with various backgrounds in many arts and years of experience between them will teach your child proven effective methods of self defense that will grow their motor skills and build their confidence.

Cost and Billing

  • The cost is $150 per week, billed via credit card on the Friday before the week in question.

  • There is a $99 registration fee for new students. This includes a uniform for use in karate classes. The purpose of the uniform aside from its traditional role in karate is to help the student feel a sense of belonging to a team and allow them the pride and feeling of accomplishment in their belt progression and awards of belt stripes. This is one of the tools we use to build self confidence.

  • For new students, the $99 registration fee and the first week payment is due upon signing up.

  • For existing students, the first wee payment is due upon signing up.

  • By signing up, you will be agreeing to pay for the weeks you select.

  • Our agreement is digital, emailed to you and will require a credit card. It is digitally signed by you and you are agreeing to pay for the weeks for which you reserve.

  • Weekly charges are made by credit card on the Friday before the subsequent week. No cash is accepted.

Hours

  • Camp starts at 8:00am and ends at 5:00pm.

  • We do have an extended hours option where you may drop off your child at 7:15am and pickup at 6:00 pm.

  • The additional cost of extended hours is $35 per week.

  • You may drop off and pickup your child anytime during camp hours. The exception to that is on field trip days where we leave for field trips at about 9:15am. Some of our field trips are outside and we try to miss the summer heat and rain by leaving earlier in the morning. If you are not able to make it to camp before our departure you may drop your child with us at the field trip location. Be sure to make these arrangements with us prior to the day of field trip.

Lunches

  • You will need to provide lunch and snacks for your child Mon-Thu. Every Friday we have a lunch party catered at our location. Please provide snacks daily. We have a scheduled snack time.

Field Trips

  • We will host two field trips per week. Usually one field trip is to a local park or splash pad. Access to these locations are usually free to us and the community, therefor there is no charge for these field trips. The exception to this is the Sanford splash pad.

  • Our second weekly field trip is usually to a premium location such as Daytona Lagoon, Monser Archade, trampoline park or similar. There will be a charge for these types of field trips and it is added to the weekly summer camps charge billed on Friday of the previous week.

  • Please bring the following to field trips

    • Field trip  tshirt

    • Sunscreen

    • Refillable Water Bottles

    • Be sure to bring a towel and a change of clothing along with the items above. Note: sandals/water shoes are recommended to wear as the pavement can get hot.

Other/Misc

  • Uniform/Belt: Students MUST have their full uniform to participate in karate classes. We recommend leaving it in a string bag at camp throughout the week and bringing home Friday to wash.

  • The Following Items are Prohibited:

    • Cell Phones and Electronics - If found in use they will be stored in the office until the end of the day.

    • Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Baseball, or any other trading cards
